In our ‘Five minutes with…’ series, we meet some of the great team at Coole Bevis Wealth Management. We posed various questions to people across our firm to provide a glimpse into their lives and perspectives.

We catch up this week with Sales Support Administrator, Casey Howse!

Tell us about yourself:

I joined Coole Bevis Wealth Management in January of 2025 after 15 years working within the retirement sector at Canada Life. I have lived in Worthing my whole life, having started my working career at the tender age of 16 in a local music and video store.  I am a people person, I love meeting new people and building solid relationships, both personal and professional. There is something so rewarding about developing a connection that goes beyond the basics.

What is the best career/professional advice anyone has given you?

You need to get your work-life balance right. If you don’t switch off properly when you aren’t at work, you can quickly become resentful and tired of your job.

Describe a typical day for you in your role

My day in the office usually starts with porridge and a coffee to get me started. Then I work through the incoming post; scanning and uploading it to client records and processing any administrative tasks that need doing. Next, I tackle the sales inbox. The majority of emails are admin tasks such as client record maintenance, liaising with providers, setting up withdrawals and contributions for clients and any other ad hoc tasks the advisers need doing.

Outside of work, what keeps you busy?

I have a 7-year-old daughter who keeps my husband and I on our toes! We spend a lot of family time playing games and watching movies together. I also spend a lot of time with my close childhood friend. We grew up together and now our daughters are growing up together as well. I have always been an avid reader but sadly reading now gives me headaches, so I listen to audiobooks instead and get through many titles every month!

What are your ambitions whilst working at Coole Bevis Wealth Management?

While I don’t currently have ambitions to attain any qualifications in financial services, I am excited about any potential opportunities for professional growth within the company. For now, I just want to learn my role inside out and do a great job!
