5 minutes with… Chae Sakakini
What makes Coole Bevis Wealth Management stand out from the rest is our people and their commitment to having great relationships with their clients and colleagues.
In our ‘Five minutes with…’ series, we meet some of the great team at Coole Bevis Wealth Management. We posed various questions to people across our firm to provide a glimpse into their lives and perspectives.
We catch up this week with Sales Support, Chae Sakakini!
Tell us about yourself:
My name is Chae. I work within the Sales Support Team at Coole Bevis Wealth Management. I primarily work at the Worthing office, where I regularly support local businesses.
I love keeping up with current affairs and expanding my knowledge. I’ve always loved learning. Before joining Coole Bevis Wealth Management, I studied at Collyers in Horsham. There, I studied A-level politics, A-level media, and BTEC sports. I wanted to choose subjects I was interested in instead of looking at what may have been needed for University.
How would your friends and family describe you?
That’s a tough question. After my gap year in Australia, they’d say I’m independent, driven, and adventurous. During my time in Australia, I travelled across the Gold Coast and through the Outback. It was such an amazing experience, but nothing beats the Sussex Downs. I always understood the value of hard work, and that didn’t change on the other side of the world. During my gap year, I took on plenty of odd jobs while out there, but my favourite was The Volt in Queensland. I highly recommend it if you’re ever on that side of the equator.
Outside of work, what keeps you busy?
That’s so easy. I have been active in sports my whole life, swimming at the county level and now actively playing rugby. My favourite parts of playing rugby are coordinating and working as a team. I love playing a mixture of all positions, but the inside centre has to be my favourite.
What is one thing you can’t live without?
One thing I can’t live without is my AirPods, whether I’m running around a track or in the office. You’ll rarely see me without them. That being said, I’ve lost count of the amount I’ve lost. I should really get some wired ones, but I love being on the move.
What are your ambitions whilst working at Coole Bevis Wealth Management?
I’m still beginning my career, so I’m open to anything. All I know is I want to be someone that people can look up to. I had many great role models growing up, so I’d love to be that for someone else. I plan to develop my skills as a Financial Adviser.
